Open The Door to Tai Chi

Welcome, all healthy lifestyle enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning to live a healthier lifestyle. 


The purpose of this group is to enhance your ability to control your mind, body, focus, concentration, confidence, discipline, and spirit through the self-improvement, psychological and physical effects of Tai Chi. 


Using the Open the Door to Tai Chi model we make learning and enjoying Tai Chi simple, easy, fun, effective, and fast. This Tai Chi model is designed to enhance your psychological health, physical health, and emotional health with the Tai Chi Yang Style 24 Form made simple, easy, and fun. Using our 8-week rotating group system you will be taught the entire 24 Form, Tai Chi principles, and how to learn more and get better. Continue with our system to improve your skills and health results. 

 

About me

This may sound crazy but after 31 years in the Marines, I finally got serious about health. Now, I practice and teach Tai Chi as the foundation for optimum health and wellbeing. I hold certificates in the following:

• Certified Master Personal Trainer - American Sports Fitness Association (ASFA)

• Certified Group Fitness Instructor - Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)

• Certified Open the Door to Tai Chi Instructor - Functional Aging Institute (FAI)
